Science Museum
Since it was rainy and kinda yuck-o still (and daddy had the day off work), we decided to head over to the Science Museum of Oklahoma today. What a great day!!

Here's one of me and Miss K right after we got there - we were waiting for the Science Live demonstration to start.

The demonstration was really cool - it was all about explosions. A few of them really scared Miss K, but she walked away talking about how much she loved it!!

Next we headed to the Tinkering Garage. It was a lot of different hands-on things you could play with and manipulate.
Here's one of Miss K cutting up a paper cup to see how it would fly over the air vent.
Here's one of Bran doing the same thing.

Right next to the air vents, there were wood stick toys to build things with. Here's Bran and his creation....

Here's Kylah and her "treehouse" - I told her it looked more like an arrow, but that it was an awesome treehouse :)
Next thing we went to see was the stuff in the middle of the Museum - I have no idea what it was called, but there were a LOT of different science concepts and things to play with and experiment around with.
One of the things were these robotic arms that you control with joysticks - here's Kylah trying to pick up a rubber ball.

Here's a little thing where you pump air in and it makes the tubes inside sink...Kylah tried as hard as she could to pump the air in, but wasn't quite strong enough.

Here's Kylah and daddy rolling wheels down a ramp - Bran turned it into an experiment where she had to guess which one would roll faster - Kylah got it right!! She's awfully smart!!

Here's Kylah lying on a bed of nails...she said it hurt!!

Here's Kylah and daddy trying to play 20 questions....unfortunately the server was down so it wouldn't work.

Here's Kylah playing with gears, seeing how many she could get to turn all at once.

Here's Bran doing his favorite thing - ORIGAMI!!

Last, but not least, we went upstairs to the "Brain Games" area - here's Kylah playing Simon Says.

We had to head out right after this to get Miss K to Taekwondo....but have a lot of wonderful memories of our super fun day-after-Fourth-of-July :)
