Baby Pics!!
So Nana sent me some baby pics of Kylah....these were taken when she was about 18 months old!! I so hope that when Brandon and I have kiddos that they will be as beautiful as Kylah is!!

Kathy's (pre) Birthday celebration!!
We baked a german chocolate cake for Kathy's birthday (which is actually tomorrow, the 17th) and took it over to her this afternoon so Kylah could participate, since she won't be able to come with us tomorrow evening.
While we were over there, Kathy taught Kylah how to play Fairway Solitare (it's a quite addictive computer game if you haven't tried it).
Then momma opened up Starfall.com and Kylah had a BLAST playing on there for around an hour or so. She's now decided that she needs to be able to play momma's laptop computer at home :)
Ears!!
Kylah (very randomly) decided one day she wanted to get her ears pierced. So after talking to her about how it would hurt, and how much she would have to take care of them, we took her to the mall with Nana and Papa and got her ears pierced!!!

They thankfully were able to do both ears at the same time!!
Here she is with her newly pierced ears!! Since you can't quite tell, she just has very small cubic zirconia studs :)
Here's our wonderful family, on our way back home!! What a trooper Miss K is!! When we got home she kept running into the bathroom and talking about how beautiful her earrings make her ears look :)

Museum Trip
Warren & Kathy took Kylah to the Sam Noble Museum in Norman last Tuesday. Kylah had a blast and talked about how much fun she had for the next few days!!

The Rocking Horse
Warren & Kathy bought a rocking horse in San Francisco (I think that's where it came from) and Kylah recently discovered it in the living room.
The Beginning....
So this will be my new blog all about Kylah and my wonderfully amazing family. I am having a hard time deciding where to start, so I will go back as far as my pictures allow, and if I can I will put older ones on here as well. Brandon's mom is going through all her photos of Kylah from all the years she has blessed this amazing family, and it's a very painstaking and time consuming project, but one day we really will have this all put together and organized. And I am going to add photos as I can.
As for this week, Kylah starts kindergarten on Wednesday. She will be going to John Ross Elementary and has been counting down the days all summer. I very briefly met her teacher on Friday, she seems great. Her name is Mrs. Evans. Brandon and I are going to the parents' night on Monday evening, where will will talk about all the particulars of Kylah being in her class. I signed up to be a classroom helper, and I really do hope to be able to take part in many activities...I still do hope to be able to teach in Edmond schools one day.
Kylah also will be starting gymnastics on Thursday. I don't know who is more excited...it's just one of those things that I've been waiting to be able to do with her. She's been watching the Olympics with me most evenings and has decided that her favorite is girls' gymnastics just like mommy.
Tomorrow we have Sullivan's bday party in the afternoon, and she's also excited about that. Brandon and my dad are taking my mom and me out to dinner tomorrow to celebrate our 1-year anniversary and my mom's birthday. Kylah gets to hang out with Auntie Adrie. She said to me "I am really missing Auntie Adrie" just the other day, and it's good to be able to tell her she only has a few more days til she gets to hang out with her.
So yup....those are all our exciting events that are coming up this next week!!!
